All photos are taken under daylight and Short Wave Ultraviolet (I use a Super Bright brand light). If your light is more than a few years old, the item may look bluer than it looks here.

Attractive microcline crystals from the Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Pakistan. The microcline fluoresces bright pale blue SW. It weighs 5.2 oz. and is 3.0 x 2.8 x 1.3 inches. $44.00, item #1907

A large quartz crystal on microcline and albite from the Gilgit-Skardu Road, Gilgit district, Pakistan. The microcline fluoresces pink SW and the albite fluoresces bright pale blue SW. FRANKLIN SCHEELITE

Lots of scheelite with fluorapatite, calcite, and willemite from the Franklin mine, Franklin, Sussex County, NJ. Comes with a note indicating that it was found at the Trotter dump in 1970. The scheelite fluoresces light yellow SW, the fluorapatite fluoresces orange SW, the calcite fluoresces red-orange SW, and the willemite fluoresces green SW. It weighs 5.5 oz. and is 3.7 x 2.4 x 1.3 inches. $95.00, item #1864 Rich scheelite on calcite (old label) from the Franklin mine, Franklin, Sussex County, NJ. Sphalerite with acicular willemite, calcite, and some unidentified mineral in a small vug from the last remaining ore wall at the Trotter mine, Franklin, Sussex County, NJ. Collected 4/26/03. Sphalerite fluoresces orange LW and willemite fluoresces green LW & brighter SW and has a long-lasting phosphorescence, calcite fluoresces red-orange SW. It weighs 5.0 oz. and is 3.5 x 1.5 x 1.2 inches. $20.00, item #480 Sphalerite with areas of radiating willemite and calcite from the last remaining ore wall at the old Trotter mine (which is now closed to collectors).
