All photos are taken under daylight and Short Wave Ultraviolet (I use a Super Bright brand light). If your light is more than a few years old, the item may look bluer than it looks here.


A hard-to-find matrix of hyalite opal covered in spessertite brown-orange garnets from Le Cheng Mine, Guang Dong, China. The hyalite fluoresces bright green SW. It weighs 6.6 oz. and is 3.0 x 3.0 x 1.3 inches. $30.00, item #2628

Friedelite is a tan NF crystaline coating on calcite and franklinite.
